Totally recommend to anyone. Brilliant experience, the hotel is charming small with peaceful location in the centre. Airy rooms with an old Portuguese style, a good bed plus as much character and delicious breakfast. Very good service from the staff. Everything perfectly fine.

The location was magnificent and amazing, also close to the funicular terminal with easy access to a shopping centre and the Farmer's market. We found a nice Mallassada Boutique nearby with hot beverages.

Spotlessly clean and modest rooms. Extremely comfy bed. - Amazing and fantastic setting next to downtown, the market, buses, the marina, and all main tourist spots in Funchal. - Conveniently located near all sights in Funchal.

This hotel is perfect for those who want to stay in a simple yet cozy place after a day of exploring the city. Its location in the Old Town is convenient to reach the Mercador dos Lavoradores, bus stations, restaurants, and bars. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the rooms have as much character as the main structure. I loved having a small balcony with a stunning view, a private bathroom, and a good, comfortable bed. Breakfast was included in the rate and had either eggs or cheese, along with fresh crispy rolls with scrambled or fried eggs.
All was great, nothing negative to report.

The attention to detail is evident, with fresh crispy rolls included in the delicious breakfast. The friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, the option of scrambled or fried eggs adds a personal touch to the morning meal.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

I recently had a fantastic stay at Pensao Mirasol for my visit to Madeira. The family-owned hotel made me feel at home with their warm hospitality. Humberto, the owner, provided me with valuable information and even helped me book a ferry to Porto Santo. The hotel's central location allowed easy access to the city center, the harbor, and numerous restaurants. I felt secure with the 24-hour reception, especially as a solo female traveler. My quiet, ocean-view room with a balcony was perfect, and the reliable wifi was a plus. I highly recommend Mirasol for a memorable stay in Madeira.
Would recommend this hotel.

Great staff and amazing breakfast that kept us full until dinner. the location was also very convenient, close to the beach, shopping area, and nice restaurants nearby. Best aspects: the welcoming staff and breakfast were the best. the hotel's location is optimal, in the heart of the city with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants.
The rooms were quite small and outdated with old furniture. the bathroom was not very clean, and we noticed some maintenance issues.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
